Friend — Debbie asked me to reach out to you.

My campaign for Congress has officially been declared a “Frontline” race — one of only a handful of races nationwide that will determine control of Congress — and National Republicans are coming for us more than ever.

I have to introduce myself to 150,000+ new voters in a toss-up district, and I already have one announced opponent. This is the most competitive race I’ve ever run.

Our first fundraising deadline since this announcement is at the end of the month, and we need to have a strong showing to fend off potential challengers. Will you help keep me fighting for you in Congress by chipping in $15 or anything you can to split between Debbie’s and my campaign?

Because of redistricting, my district is now Republican-leaning. national Republicans have added our race to their top target list and are already spending money to run ads against me. President Biden only won my current district (before redistricting) by 8,000 votes, so this is going to be tougher this time around!

Debbie and I have fought for you on a lot of issues, including recently passing the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to rebuild roads, repair bridges, replace lead pipes and expand high-speed broadband internet.

Now, we need your help to hold the majority so we can keep doing this good work.

Thanks for all you do,
Dan
