As we begin Black History Month, we celebrate Black leaders and activists who have built and shaped our country and recommit to fighting for liberty, justice and equality for all. On Thursday our Team Pelosi Weekly Grassroots Volunteer Update will celebrate Black History Month with a special conversation featuring an outstanding and effective CBC member - Congresswoman Lauren Underwood (IL-14). Congresswoman Underwood is a registered nurse and health care policy expert who co-founded the Black Maternal Health Caucus and has worked tirelessly to strengthen health care.
