Dear friends,

We'd like you to meet Anees in the video above. He is one of the 250 students in ACCESS’ Youth Sports and Recreation program. For seven years, this program has given Anees a space to play his favorite sports with his best friends, while teaching him the important skill of teamwork. Due to limited school funding and low household incomes in the Southend of Dearborn and in Detroit, this is one of the very few spaces for Anees to engage in enriching activities with his community.

We’re reaching out to you so we can come together, as a team, to help sustain and scale up our Youth Sports and Recreation program. With your help, we can completely transform ACCESS' indoor sports programming. Your donation will support:

• Sports activities such as martial arts, football, soccer and much more 
• Transportation to games
• Sports equipment and gear (jerseys, shorts, gym bags, shoes, basketballs, etc.)
• Drinks and snacks, especially for youth experiencing food insecurity

Due to high costs, many of the households we serve can't afford to put their children in sports programming. Your contribution will ensure that young people have access to these opportunities, which will help boost their confidence and create long-lasting friendships.
