Already, more than 20,000 people have signed our petition demanding Congress act. And now, Senator Elizabeth Warren is joining our call to action.
John,
Momentum is on our side.
Last week, Americans for Tax Fairness Action Fund and our national allies called on Congress to invest $80 billion in the IRS to provide on-time tax refunds for American taxpayers and crack down on wealthy tax cheats who dodge $163 billion in taxes each year.[1]
Now, Senator Elizabeth Warren is demanding action!
Late last week, Senator Warren, along with her Senate colleagues, called for a major investment in the IRS that would improve customer service for taxpayers―including on-time tax refunds―and increase audits of millionaires and billionaires, which have plummeted due to years of starving the IRS by congressional Republicans.
In fact, between 2010 and 2018, the IRS lost nearly one-third of its enforcement employees, or 14,000 workers.[2]
Thank you for fighting to unrig our tax system and demand the wealthy and corporations pay what they owe in taxes.

John,
After decades of disinvestment in the IRS, the American people are speaking out―demanding the IRS have the resources it needs to process tax refunds on time and crack down on millionaire and billionaire tax cheats.
Already, more than 20,000 people have signed our petition demanding Congress act. And now, Senator Elizabeth Warren is joining our call to action.[1]
This investment will result in $400 billion in new revenue―mostly from wealthy and corporate tax dodgers―and can be used to create jobs and help families afford healthcare, childcare, education, housing and to combat the climate crisis.[2]
Thank you for fighting for a tax system that works for everyone, not just the wealthy few.
