+ NEWS: Overdose deaths in San Francisco are down thanks to Bay Area harm reductionists! "In 2021, the DOPE Project, which keeps data for the city, tracked 8,200 overdose reversals. That’s up from about 4,300 in 2020. The number nearly doubled because of more word-of-mouth partnerships with grassroots groups and coordination with the health department, said Laura Guzman, senior director of capacity building and community mobilization at the National Harm Reduction Coalition."
