A Project of Free Press
Friend,

There are many ways of marking, measuring and experiencing time.

For some, the new year began on January 1st. For others, it begins on February 1st with the Lunar New Year. The beginning of spring on March 20th is also used to celebrate newness.

Whenever, however you’re experiencing time and renewal, we invite you to do so with us this February. As a continuation of our Black Narrative Power month from last year, we extend this opportunity to journey with us into the Afro future. The Afro future is space that isn’t bound by the restrictions of linear time and limited resources. This future is beautifully and boldly Black and abundant.

These days, as we’re gaining ancestors, experiencing shifts in mental wellness and motivation, and needing new expressions of both creativity and ease, our hope is that we can find ways to maintain while moving onward.

For these reasons, we’re strengthening our programmatic focus on wellness that is collective and holistic. We’re prioritizing work that is collaborative and feeds our souls.

Join our Media 2070 mailing list to learn more about Black Narrative Power month and receive invites to the events we'll be hosting throughout the month of February.
