We’re proud to announce our first wave of endorsements for the local primary on Feb. 15.

This slate of endorsements focuses on local candidates. We work shoulder-to-shoulder in communities across the state to identify and support candidates whose values intersect with your own: clean water, clean air, accessible public lands, an equitable, safe democracy, and the pursuit of clean energy.

Local elections matter. Local races shape your community and impact your daily life. They are increasingly important in the fight for a cleaner world. Local governments protect our democracy and can take significant, tangible climate action – from tackling pollution to the transition to clean energy. That does not happen without pro-conservation elected officials in local offices.

The past year has shown that anti-science and anti-democracy forces have been organizing and putting more energy into local races than ever before. Backed by billionaires and anti-conservation politicians like Robin Vos, radical groups are pushing an organized assault on our values and the communities we love. These people have no commitment to conservation, justice, or democracy. We need to stay engaged – and we need to vote.

We’re proud to announce these endorsements. Each of these endorsed candidates is thoroughly vetted by Wisconsin Conservation Voters' staff, board, and the people who call these communities home.
