Thanks to your contributions and advocacy, FPC is able to pursue legal action against a variety of infringements on our constitutional rights.



We recently announced our lawsuit against the United States government challenging the wrongful denial of an individual's application to purchase a firearm.



<[link removed]>Core to our argument is the federal government's unacceptable burden-shifting policies and practices which force gun buyers to prove they are not prohibited persons under the law. 



Unequivocally, it is the government's burden to prove that a person may not exercise their fundamental, individual right to keep and bear arms. The government’s backwards approach violates both the Second Amendment and the Fifth Amendment.
