Already this month the Philadelphia City Council unanimously passed legislation I sponsored to approve additional funding for the struggling hospitality industry, and a law I introduced last year forbidding employers from testing for marijuana during the hiring process just went into effect.

Few industries in Philadelphia have suffered more in the last two years than hospitality and its employees, and my bill will play an important role in returning them to productivity and prosperity — that’s what boosting Philadelphia’s economy is all about.
