Fight for $15

John,

Exciting news! After workers like me have been organizing and striking in California for over half a decade, today the California Assembly has heard our voices!

Since the start of the pandemic, we've launched strikes at over 300 locations in California. We've won raises, paid sick days, safer working conditions, and more. We've demanded passage of AB 257. Today, the Assembly did just that.

Our battle is far from over. As we fight for Unions for All, we'll continue to organize here in California for the Governor to sign AB 257, creating a Fast Food Sector Council. The next step is the State Senate. I'm going to need you and your friends to stay with me and my coworkers.

You can prove you're with me by sharing today's news with your friends. [[link removed]]

This year we made history when the California minimum wage officially reached $15, but the Fight for $15 and a Union has never just been about the minimum wage. We need a voice on the job. We need a seat at the table.

AB 257 would ensure we can empower ourselves to set industry standards in a new way. Join me in celebration and tell your friends.

In solidarity,
