Today, we honor the start of Black History Month. Black communities have contributed to the United States, and our world, in innumerable ways. Throughout this month, we will be highlighting various members of Black communities in the service of uplifting their legacies. We dedicated our first post to our ally Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, one of the first Muslim women to serve in the US Congress. Rep. Omar, we celebrate you and thank you for your commitment to human rights, racial justice, and the rights of Muslim Americans.

On February 26th, we invite you to a Town Hall to honor Black Muslims. Join our discussion on the history and contributions by Black Muslims to America, addressing anti-Black racism in Muslim American communities, and much more.
