Today and every day, we are grateful for and indebted to our veterans for the sacrifices they have made to keep our country safe. Each day, we must remember and honor all that our veterans have done through their service and what their service is for.

At this moment of great uncertainty, we are reminded of the sacrifices they have made for our country, our people, and our ideals. The diverse men and women from every corner of our country, from every faith tradition, from every income bracket, from every political party remind us that we are all Americans. And they remind us, too, how much we have to fight for.

I hope you will join me today and thank the veterans in your life and our community and recommit to honoring their sacrifices with your own service to our country and its ideals.
