URGENT: MN House Republicans introduce Texas-Style abortion ban on first day of legislative session

After the Supreme Court gave the green light to the GOP attack on abortion rights in Texas, Republicans are making good on their pledge to follow suit here in Minnesota – and they’re wasting no time.
On the very first day of the 2022 legislative session, the MN House GOP introduced a Texas-style abortion ban, officially bringing the fight to protect abortion rights into the center focus of November’s midterm election.
Make no mistake: Reproductive freedom is under attack in Minnesota. If the MN GOP succeeds in retaking power this November, they will waste no time rolling back abortion rights against the wishes of a vast majority of Minnesotans.
We’ve already drawn up plans to expand our early organizing program to fight back, but we need to raise at least $25,000 by Friday to put them into action.
