In a recent interview, extreme candidate Garrett Soldano said he thinks women who are raped should have to give birth because “God put them in this moment.”

This comment is disturbing and wrong coming from anyone, especially a candidate for governor – and it is a disgusting attack on our reproductive rights.

This is a pivotal moment for reproductive rights, and all of our opponents have committed to undermining access in Michigan – including some who have pledged to uphold Michigan’s 1931 abortion ban should Roe v. Wade be overturned.
