John, we need your help.

Right now, I’m urging the Franklin County Democratic Party and the Ohio Democratic Party to not endorse any of the candidates running in our Congressional primary.

Franklin County is a diverse and dynamic place. We’re lucky to have a choice in this race with two candidates who represent two different visions for our future. I represent the the bold one.

That’s why I’m urging the county and state Democratic parties to use their time and resources to educate voters about all of the candidates in this race, rather than endorsing any one candidate. Because endorsing a candidate would not only be undocrative, but also unprecedented since they did not do this in 2012.

Our neighbors in Franklin County deserve the opportunity to learn about the candidates who are running to represent them in Congress. They deserve an impartial party who will help educate them and let them decide which candidate to back on their own based on our policy differences.

But, for that to happen, they need to hear from you. Please add your name and join me in ensuring a fair primary election that benefits both the members of our party and the residents of our county.
