Taxes are a Life Certainty, right Governor?

This week, the Republican American reported ([link removed]) that our own Governor Ned Lamont was in the hot seat for his neglect to pay his federal and local tax obligations in full.

He did, however, find time to increase the tax burden on Connecticut residents and businesses by close to $2 Billion ([link removed]) .

“The failures of Governor Lamont extend from his Capitol office to his home office. On top of his decision not to follow through on the $400 million in relief ([link removed]) he promised to working families, he did not even pay his own taxes in their entirety,” said Connectcut Republican Party Chairman Ben Proto. “When his response is that both the IRS and the Greenwich town offices are at fault, maybe it’s a cue to look at his own bureaucratic establishments for improvements. This is a clear example of how Connecticut deserves better leadership.”
