We sent a number of fundraising emails leading up to yesterday’s deadline, so I thought it important to also take a moment to send one to say thank you.
Something we say a lot is that these goals are not arbitrary — that’s because it’s true. They are the numbers we need to reach every month if we are going to win this race.
It’s no secret this is going to be a long and expensive campaign, and my decision to not accept corporate PAC money makes fundraising a little more difficult for me.
But it was the right decision.
Instead, our support comes from a humbling number of individual donors. I’m very proud of the way we fund this campaign. You should be too.
