John,
I wanted to make sure you saw Jessica’s recent email, as well as provide you an update about the racist leader of anti-abortion group Priests for Life.
On January 26, less than a week after white supremacist group Patriot Front joined the March for Life in D.C., Pavone chose to tell his 161,000 Twitter followers that “there is nothing wrong with being white and there is nothing wrong with being a nationalist.” [1]
Rather than condemning the violent white nationalists that joined the March for Life, Pavone seems to be normalizing white supremacist ideology with his tweet.
As Jessica recently outlined in the third installment of her deep-dive Priests for Life blog series, Priests for Life leader Father Frank Pavone has a long history of spewing violent, racist rhetoric. From passively condoning the electrocution of migrants seeking to cross the border into the U.S. to callously denying the inhumane treatment of migrant children at the border, Pavone’s racism has never been subtle.
Pavone has also regularly gone against the rulings of church leaders, seeming to follow his own questionable moral code rather than the heads of his own church – which, as Jessica outlines, has gotten him in a great deal of trouble with the Catholic church.
Pavone’s despicable embrace of white nationalism is disgusting, heinous – and unsurprising. Pavone has once again shown us that ‘pro-life’ is anti-life, anti-immigrant, anti-Black, and pro-white supremacy. Read her series for more details.

P.S. Have you checked out Jessica’s series on Priests for Life? Take a minute to read the first, second, and third installments in the series today for the deep dive on this racist anti-abortion group.
Dear John,
National anti-abortion organization Priests for Life, led by Frank Pavone, is helping to intensify anti-immigrant, racist, and anti-gay rhetoric within the mainstream ‘pro-life’ movement. That’s why I’ve written a three-part series covering the history, the many indiscretions, and the conspiracy beliefs this extreme organization and its leader have touted for years.
Priests for Life has close ties to numerous ‘pro-life’ leaders, extremist groups, and conservative politicians. Learn about the history of this organization, including their egregious misuse of taxpayer funds in my first blog post here.
Then, check out the second part covering all the trouble Frank Pavone has gotten into with Catholic leadership, despite tying his career to the Church’s authority.
Finally, in the third installment, we’ll see just how far down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole Frank Pavone has followed Donald Trump and his far-right supporters.
It’s clear that Priests for Life is ridiculously hypocritical, hateful, and an example of the moral rot within the ‘pro-life’ movement.
In solidarity,
