Friend, Governor Wolf has taken action in two huge ways to address ongoing gun violence in Pennsylvania. Will you take a moment right now to thank him?

#1: An additional $15 million in investments has been made toward community gun violence prevention. This latest investment brings the subtotal to $45 million in state investments. We’re continuing to work to bring that total up to $100 million by the end of 2023. For community organizations and those directly impacted, this is major news that will save countless lives. We’ve been working tirelessly at CeaseFIrePA to advance these community investments.

#2: Governor Wolf has pledged to veto a disastrous bill that would have given legal standing for the NRA to bankrupt local communities working to end gun violence. We’re so thankful to him for shutting down this awful legislation, which would have prevented communities from even engaging in the creation of policy reforms in good faith, for fear of financial ruin. We’re also so appreciative of the numerous legislators who rose to challenge this legislation during debate.

The momentum and power we’ve built to end gun violence is always vulnerable. For every victory we have, extreme organizations are actively planning to undermine that progress at the next possible moment. Please take two minutes right now to thank Governor Wolf for his partnership in this work.
