Hey John — Sorry for all the emails these last couple days, but I just got an update from my team and we’re still 72 folks short of our goal to reach 1,000 monthly donors before midnight tonight.

I’m proud to run a grassroots campaign, because this campaign is for working people everywhere. In fact, our average monthly donation is just $13.70.

Crooks like Kevin, Mo, and Marjorie are busy at corporate GOP fundraisers, playing political games, and saying horrible things to get airtime, all in the hopes of massive fundraising.

What does that mean? Well, it means that we’ve got to fight even harder to keep the House and Senate come November. If Republicans take back the majority, my committee assignments could be the least of what’s at stake — our democracy could hang in the balance.
