John,

It's hard to believe that the first month of 2022 is already coming to a close. Election Day will be here before we know it, so I wanted to take a moment to share a little bit about where our race for Washington's 8th District stands.

After redistricting, the new WA-08 will not only remain the most competitive race in the state – it will also be one of the most competitive in the entire country. This new map also means I have over 100,000 new voters that I need to reach, and less than a year to do it.

Election experts are now calling our race a "toss-up" and with three Republican opponents running to flip this seat, we know we're in for our toughest race yet.

We can't hold the House majority without winning in Washington's 8th District. We can win, but it won't be easy. That's why it's crucial we reach our first end-of-month fundraising goal of the election year by midnight tonight to make sure we have the resources we need to reach new voters and defend this seat.

Will you chip in $5 or more before our end-of-month fundraising deadline at midnight tonight? With your help, we can defend my seat and our Democratic House majority this November >> https://secure.actblue.com/donate/schrier-january-2022-eom

Thank you,

Kim
