I'm swamped with messages I want to share! I know you get tired of having so many emails in your inbox, so I'm gonna try to list them all here and hope you're paying attention!
TEXAS TOUGH TICKETS JUST RELEASED! Tickets to our annual event celebrating Texas's independence are ON SALE NOW! We sell out every year -- and it gets bigger and better every year -- so don't delay! On April 23 at Lonesome Dove Ranch in Southlake, we've got the comedy of Brad Stine, the brilliance of KrisAnne Hall, JD, and the boldness of Lara Logan. Wow!!!! Oh... you want more??? Yes! We'll have a quick draw contest! And fireworks! And special guests... the Twin Sisters! Nobody does a party better than True Texas Project. We're bringing patriots from around the state for one big Texian celebration. And soon to be announced... 4 of the 5 True Texas Certification classes will be offered on the Friday night and Saturday morning of that same weekend. Get tickets here.
VOTER RECOMMENDATIONS - Our website has voting recommendations for all the statewide candidates, plus the county races in all 18 counties where we have satellite groups. People want help knowing who to vote for... especially with those difficult judicial races. Send them the link and help them out!
NEW PODCAST WITH REP JEFF CASON - I got to hear a sneak peak of "Back Room Access" with Representative Jeff Cason today. I'll tell you straight up that I don't spend a lot of time on podcasts, videos, or TV, but this one will be worth your time. One of our favorite and most effective presentations at True Texas Project was when Stickland shared a behind the scenes look at the backroom pressure he faced when first elected. This program is dedicated to doing the same. Check it out! The first episode is only 14 min long.
MIND POLLUTERS - This week you have 2 opportunities to attend a screening of a new documentary featuring many Texas grassroots activists who have been battling obscenity in our public schools for YEARS. "Mind Polluters" is creating a lot of buzz... come see what that buzz is all about! These two showings are in Harris County, but you can check their website for other showings. PROTECTING KIDS: If you're in the DFW Area, there are 2 additional great events to help you stay on top of the fight for our children...one this week in Keller and one next week in NRH.
