I know it's been a while since you've heard from me. But now that this election year is officially upon us, I wanted to reach back out and tell you exactly what's at stake in November – and how folks like you can help Democrats win.

I'm going to give it to you straight. We're fighting an uphill battle to defend our critical majority: Polling in battleground states across the country shows Democrats neck and neck with their GOP opponents, and experts at Vox say that Republicans are favored to take back the Senate.

It's no secret that the only way to keep our razor-thin majority is to make major inroads into rural America. Many of the most vulnerable Democrats in the House AND the Senate represent rural communities – and without the support of rural voters, they'll have no chance to defend their seats.

If we don't bridge the gap between rural America and the Democratic Party by showing up and organizing now, the road ahead looks bleak. Losing just one seat would mean that Mitch McConnell retakes Senate control – and he has admitted that he's "100% focused" on stopping President Biden's agenda.

At One Country Project, we're doing everything we can to flip rural states blue and protect our progress – but unfortunately, we're up against our FIRST end-of-month deadline of the year and falling short of our $25,000 grassroots goal. With everything from our health care to our very democracy at stake in this election, I'm asking you to chip in now:
