Let me cut to the point. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this year is
the most critical election of our lifetime. Democracy for America has
three priorities in 2022 and it begins with Saving the Senate.

A couple of weeks ago Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin joined together with
Mitch McConnell and the rest of the Senate Republicans to stop Democrats
from changing the filibuster rules, thus ending any chance at fighting
widespread GOP voter suppression and protecting our fundamental right to
vote.

It is no secret that Republicans feel their power is fleeting and will do
anything to preserve it by attacking the structure of our democracy by
suppressing the right to vote. That is why across 19 states, Republicans
passed 33 restrictive voting laws last year with numerous more
legislatures considering passing even more restrictive laws this year.

The way we begin to save our democracy begins with Saving the Senate and
that means stripping power away from Manchin, Sinema, and McConnell during
this November's election; But we can’t do that without investing resources
today:

McConnell in the firm minority and remove Manchin & Sinema from the
equation and Democracy for America has endorsed 4 progressive champions
running for Senate that can do just that. Will you chip in today so we can

Democracy for America is hard at work lifting up progressive challengers
like Mandela Barnes-WI, Cheri Beasley-NC, Malcolm Kenyatta-PA, and Charles
Booker-KY so we can elect at least 3 additional Senators that will fight
voter suppression head-on.

A lot can happen over the course of a year, but because of your help last
year we were able to run a robust voter contact operation in Georgia and
even the odds in the Senate. We’re a few hours away from our end of the
month deadline, and we just need 200 more individuals like you to
contribute $25 so that we can set a strong foundation for these midterms.

progressives to a federal, state, and local level over the past 17 years.
