It makes my stomach drop when I think about the fact that it’s legal in America for that baby to be killed.

We’ve set an ambitious end-of-month goal to close out the first month of what I pray will be a historic, life-saving year.

I sometimes can’t believe how far we’ve come.

We just passed the 49-year mark since Roe v. Wade was decided by the Supreme Court.

We persevered for 49 years…

After 20 years of Roe being upheld, we could have said, “It’s been two decades since Roe was decided. It’s time to accept defeat and move on.”

But we didn’t.

Nor did we give up after 30 years… or 40 years…

It took 49 YEARS for a REAL opportunity for the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Truth be told: how could we have given up?

Human lives needed us to persevere no matter how long it took.

And now, the fight isn’t over. While I am optimistic about our chances at the Supreme Court, I know that nothing is certain.

But I want to be certain that our perseverance did not end when we needed it the most.

That’s why I’ve set ambitious goals for not just this month – but all subsequent months – during the lead-up to the Supreme Court decision this summer.
