Today is Veterans Day, where we honor those who have served our country in the military.

Alaska has one of the largest veteran populations in the country, and I'm grateful for their selflessness and service as they protect American values around the globe.

Veterans fought for our country, and we must fight for them to ensure they are getting the care and recognition they deserve.

Our veterans deserve support from our lawmakers and not lip service. I have met too many veterans on the trail not getting the support they need from our government services. It's time we kept our promises to those who put their lives on the line for America.

I’m committed to standing up for our active, former, and retired service members. Let us all take time today and everyday to thank those who have fought for our country.
