John, we have some good news and bad news.
Let's start with the bad news first: We're running roughly 250 contributions short of our January online fundraising goal, with just a little over 8 hours left to meet it.
But here's the good news: If just a small fraction of the people reading this email chipped in $3 or any amount, we'd be on track to hitting our goal of 5,000 individual contributions.
Early voting in the first congressional primary of the year starts just two weeks from today in Texas. We are counting on a surge of grassroots contributions to help us meet our first important fundraising goal of the year before the day is over.
Contribute $3 or whatever you can afford toward our Working Families Majority Fund so we can double down on our electoral organizing in the Texas primary and all across the country next month:

In 2022, we're focused on electing candidates who align with the people's needs and who will prioritize communities, not corporate donors. We're backing Greg Casar, Jessica Cisneros, and Jasmine Crockett in Texas for that reason and because we know these races are winnable.
But, John, we can't do this alone. Our efforts in these primaries — phone banks, text banks, and on-the-ground organizing — depend on working people coming together to pool their resources to build political power for those who have been underrepresented or disenfranchised.
Anything can happen in the final weeks of a primary — like a flood of corporate cash to take down our candidates. So we're asking: Can you help us hit our January online fundraising goal with a contribution of $3 or any amount to our Working Families Majority Fund before midnight tonight?
In solidarity,
Team WFP
