Before we endorse a candidate, we interview and assess them to ensure they are truly the best person for the job. Every candidate we endorse believes in a woman’s right to choose, paid family leave, that vaccines work, and that healthcare is a human right. Our endorsed candidates are glass ceiling-shattering, incredible women who are ready to represent their communities and move our nation forward. But they need our help to successfully kick off their campaigns.

One of the best ways a candidate can connect with voters at the start of their campaign is through a "launch video." These videos help candidates hit the ground running by building excitement around their candidacy and sharing why they chose to run for office in the first place. For our female candidates, it allows them to take ownership of their campaign messaging before the inevitable misogyny ensues as their campaign starts to pick up steam.

While these videos can be a terrific opportunity for candidates who have the early funding to cover production, most of our candidates do not have that luxury. That is why Her Bold Move supports our endorsed candidates by producing their campaign videos – for free.
