Why our January fundraising goal is important.
John,
As a single mom, planning ahead is the only way we’re making it through the week—whether it’s picking up poster boards for a school project, figuring out which kid needs to be where, or finding time to actually go to the grocery store.
Meeting our campaign’s fundraising goals requires the same prudent planning.
Our team is consistently running the numbers and making sure we have the resources we need to run in this competitive race. That’s why we have monthly goals. Reaching our goals helps us plan ahead, and donations made now, as opposed to right before the election, are especially useful. Knowing we have that money in the bank helps us strategically plan out our ad buys and invest in reaching voters early, before the bombardment of GOP ads really starts.
If you can, consider donating $20 ahead of the end of the month. I don’t take money from corporate PACs or lobbyists, so I rely on grassroots donors like you to help us reach our goal.
