January has been a busy month. Going back to Congress after a new year, I had one thing on my mind – we have so much work to get done.

This year we need to fight harder than ever to pass policies that will help our communities and families. People want to see a government that works and moves things forward. For my constituents, this is exactly what I am focused on.

I have spent this month working to enact legislation that will address the issues faced by our community, right here in WA-1, but I can't do it alone.

My priorities in Congress these next few months are clear: we need to pass the Build Back Better Act, renew the Child Tax Credit expansion, strengthen our supply chains and manufacturing base, address the broad needs of our communities from healthcare to climate – because this is what American families need to secure their futures.
