Just a few days ago, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) expanded the list of frontline Democrats it deemed at risk of losing their seats. And now, we’re just hours away from the first fundraising deadline of 2022.

I won’t sugarcoat it: holding the House this November is going to be incredibly difficult for Democrats.

Our first big test of 2022 is tomorrow night at midnight — the January fundraising deadline. This will set the tone for the rest of the year leading up to the midterm elections.

Republicans are confident they can take back the House. Kevin McCarthy has been saying publicly they can flip 60 seats. That would mean no chance at voting rights, no chance at climate action, no chance at reinstating the expanded Child Tax Credit.

President Biden and a Democratic-controlled Congress have righted the ship after Donald Trump, but there is still so much we need to do for America.
