Propose a session due date FEBRUARY 9 2022 AMC 2022 June 30 - July 03 Detroit + Virtual

Dear beloveds, 

AMC2022 will be a hybrid conference, convening national participants online and curating a hyper-local, in-person convening for Detroiters, Metro Detroit residents, and communities throughout Michigan (occupied Anishinaabe, Peoria, and Meskwaki land). 

Convening June 30th – July 3rd, 2022, the conference will be a space to explore new forms of organizing, infused with creativity, deep listening, and synergy between diverse mediums and tactics. For more info about our hybrid structure, please check out our Shape of the AMC2022 blog post and this recap video from our first-ever virtual conference in 2020. 

Apply to any of the following tracks by February 9th, 2022:

This Fall was the most successful AMP Seeds season yet with over 4,000 views (highlights above). Visit the AMP Seeds Archive for full-length videos of events from the past three seasons alongside transcripts, discussion prompts, and further reading. Check out events you missed, re-watch conversations that inspired you, or use them as educational resources.

  • With This Is Not a Bill, Detroit artist Kristle Marshall sends illustrated postcards depicting joy to strangers.
  • AMP is seeking a Digital Content Assistant for a 6 month contract with the possibility of a full-time position upon conclusion of the contract. We are seeking a media-maker with skills in website administration, graphic design, and social media management. Apply your skills to help bring to life the 22nd Annual Allied Media Conference, while also supporting the storytelling capacities of AMP and its network of people and projects making media for liberation. Apply by Feb 18th! 
  • Detroit Narrative Agency is hiring an Administrative Assistant salary starts at 40-45K per year.
  • Detroit Justice Center is staffing up. They are seeking: Senior Development Associate, Website/Impact Report Designer, HR/DEI Manager, Financial Analyst, and Staff Attorney.
