Folks —
Fighting for our nation’s Veterans, who fought for us, is one of my top priorities in Congress.
Whether it was helping to ensure the opening of the new VA medical center in Aurora, helping Veterans find work and receive an education when they return home, or ensuring they have the benefits they’ve earned and deserve, it’s my job to work for them to show our appreciation for their service.
I am also committed to ensuring Veterans’ stories are preserved for future generations, which is why I support the Library of Congress’ Veterans History Project.
Today, we thank the men and women who have served and sacrificed to preserve our freedom and national security.
Happy Veterans Day!
