Leadership matters. Decency, empathy and responsibility matter. And they will matter even more as we continue our work to get our country healthy.

The GOP knows that Democrats delivered and are working to help lift up the lower and middle class. And they know the only way to beat back these accomplishments and keep their status quo is to distract from the facts and create hateful divisions between friends and neighbors, between family and coworkers. The more disinformation the GOP can get out, the more things can stay the same. We cannot let that happen. We will not let that happen.

This first deadline is an important part of locking in the funding to do this work. We’ll be fighting back against millions of dollars in GOP super PAC spending, misinformation on the airwaves and in Facebook feeds, and National Republicans who are desperate to flip this seat.
