John, we’re now about a month away from the primary election!
In less than 24 hours, we’re going to hit our deadline to reach $18,000 in email donations. And right now, we are so close to hitting our goal, but we’re still a little short of where we want to be.
As Finance Director, it is my job to take note of fundraising numbers and make sure we are doing everything we can to hit our goals and we only have until midnight to raise $2,487.
There is no better time than now to make a contribution to our campaign. January is our last chance to set us up for success in February.
We must close out the month with record fundraising numbers during the final stretch toward the TX-28 Democratic Primary so we can secure Jessica’s chances of winning. Can we count on your support?

Henry Cuellar has a lot of powerful backers behind his re-election campaign. Last cycle, most of his support came from the Koch donor network, Big Oil companies, the largest private prison network Geo Group, the Club for Growth (a Trump-aligned PAC), and other corporate PACs.
The only way that someone like Jessica Cisneros can win a race like this is if we completely outnumber all those rich and powerful people with tens of thousands of grassroots supporters fighting for a progressive agenda.
Last year, in spite of all the obstacles and being outspent, we came just a couple of thousand votes short of a huge upset. But this time around, we’re going to win. But only if Jessica gets support from grassroots activists like you today.
