Hi John,
The start of January marks an important milestone for NIAC. We're celebrating our 20th anniversary! Over the past two decades, NIAC has grown from a small group of Iranian Americans to a national organization with tens of thousands of supporters like you across the country.
We've seen incredible growth and influence as an organization, and need you to help empower our community from the ground up, including in xxxxxx. Will you chip in so we can continue to keep expanding our efforts on behalf of the Iranian-American community? [[link removed]]

As this month comes to a close, I want to highlight just three things (of many) we've accomplished this January:
1.
We
introduced
you
to
our
Digital
Associate,
Etan
Mabourakh.
Etan
contributes
to
NIAC's
social
media,
email
program,
and
general
community-building
events
and
has
quickly
become
an
invaluable
member
of
our
team.
2.
On
January
18th,
we
highlighted
the
experiences
of
Iranian
Americans
in
the
United
States
through
the
first-ever
report
of
its
kind
(
Othering
Iran:
How
Dehumanization

Undermines
Rights

)
and
through
a
panel
(

American
Rights

).
3.
In
honor
of
the
first
anniversary
of
the
repealing
of
the
Muslim
Ban,
our
team
both
celebrated
our
efforts
to
rescind
the
ban
and
discussed
how
the
ban
still
impacts
Iranian
Americans
and
their
loved
ones.
We
hosted
a
panel
discussion
[[link removed]]
on
year
after
the
Muslim
Ban
and
co-wrote
a
letter
with
100
other
organizations

calling
on
the
Biden
Administration
to
provide
immediate
relief
to
the
families
impacted
by
the
ban.
Having a seat at the table isn't a right, it's earned — and in the last two decades we've earned our seat at the table. That's why NIAC is in conversation with administration officials about re-entering the Iran Nuclear Deal. It’s also why we are at the table with leaders in Congress to educate and advocate for our legislative priorities.
We have big plans for the next few months, but we need you to help us sustain our progress. Can you rush an end-of-month donation so we can keep hosting panels and advocating for the Iranian-American community and beyond? Your donation to NIAC is 100% tax-deductible. [[link removed]]

Your support means the world to me, John. Thank you.

Transparency is a core value of NIAC and we work to provide it all levels, including regarding our finances and funding, governance, and policy priorities and positions. NIAC is a proud recipient of the 2021 GuideStar Platinum Seal of Transparency.
