I just wanted to say hi! My name is Kate, and I'm the new Development Director at Run for Something.

My job is raising the money Run for Something needs to support thousands of diverse young progressives as they run for office and change the future of our country. So, I want to talk about our 2022 goals and what you can do to help:

RFS in 2022: Grow the RFS candidate pipeline by at least 25,000 new people, endorse 700 candidates, of our endorsed candidates we aim to support 25% LGBTQIA+ candidates, 50% women candidates, and 50% candidates of color

Run for Something is growing rapidly, but big goals come with big budgets -- we need to raise $6.3 million to make all of this happen.

I know this sounds like a big goal, but here's part of my plan to hit it: tap our awesome mutuals on Twitter (who are ready to give us a shout), hold amazing events throughout the year (like our upcoming 5th-anniversary party!), and most importantly, reach out to our very generous supporters (like you -- yay!).

Every single donation supports and sustains the amazing network of young progressives we've built over the last five years.
