When I became a Senator, I was underestimated. The GOP called me the “accidental Senator” and doubted my ability to deliver for Coloradans and get re-elected. So, I got to work proving them wrong.

Last year, I secured tax cuts for working families; helped keep nearly 4 million kids out of poverty; and secured critical investments in our roads, bridges, and internet infrastructure in Colorado, that will create good-paying jobs all across the state.

I was once underestimated, so I know doubting your opponents is a mistake. This won’t be an easy race. The National GOP’s strategy to flip states like Colorado is to obstruct progress at every turn and funnel some of the more than $104 million they raised last year to attack Democrats like me. I’m up against Mitch McConnell’s war chest, seven opponents, and millions of dollars worth of attack ads.

But I’ve seen grassroots supporters — like you — step up in critical moments including John’s election in 2020 and my last midterm election that I won by a hair. In the months leading up to Election Day, we’ll need to hire and train organizers, quickly respond to attacks, and mobilize voters statewide. Our 50-50 Senate majority is on the line and your support makes this election-winning work possible.
