Hi there - I wanted to reach out myself before tonight’s fundraising deadline to explain why your donation is so important.

When we launched this campaign, I said we had to try something new in North Carolina because the old playbook wasn’t cutting it. I made a promise that this campaign would be different.

On Election Day 2020, North Carolina’s Senate race was the most expensive Senate race in U.S. history. Over $280 million was spent from Republicans, Democrats, and every super PAC pouring record sums into our state.

Republicans are going to try their same playbook — let far-right super PACs spend extreme sums of dark money on attack ads. There’s no limit to what they’re willing to spend to buy this seat.

Now the truth is we’re going to have to respond to all these attacks, but that won’t be enough. As I said, the path to victory hinges on a new strategy.

So we’re also going to build the largest grassroots campaign our state has ever seen. This will be a campaign that reaches out to people from the Appalachian Mountains to the Outer Banks. Anyone who has felt silenced or left behind by Washington will have a voice in us — because you and your family deserve a Senator who will speak up and fight for YOU in Washington.

But this will be expensive. So we need to raise the resources now to lay the groundwork to fight back and win.

That’s why a donation from you is so important today. So I’m asking you myself, please consider pitching in $3 or any amount you can afford today to help us flip North Carolina.

Now that Democrats are united and focused on the general election, this campaign is Republicans' sole target in this race. We must be ready for anything.

Thank you for your support,

Cheri
