Friend,
I’m about to ask you to pitch in to our movement before the January fundraising deadline at midnight tonight. But before I do that, I want to explain what your contribution means to me.
Asking for money is one of my least favorite parts of running for Congress; I would much rather be connecting with people in my community about our shared values. But unfortunately, running for Congress is expensive, and I understand that we need sufficient resources to flip this seat blue.
But even so, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your grassroots support. When our movement receives a contribution of $2, $10, or $500, it reinforces that you believe in something I said or something I did. It demonstrates that our message resonates with people in Arizona and across the country, motivating me to work even harder to win this race.
No matter how small, receiving a grassroots donation makes me feel deep gratitude and honor that you’ve put your trust in me and believe in our movement.
So please, will you contribute to our campaign before the January deadline at midnight tonight? We’re so close to meeting our $10,000 goal but need your support to get over the finish line!

With immense appreciation,
Jevin D. Hodge
