Tell the EPA to Cut Methane from Oil and Gas

Protect Bristol Bay

Dear John,

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released a proposal to cut fracking's climate & toxic air pollution.

Today is your last chance to urge them to do more!

The EPA's current rules will leave communities exposed to methane and other air pollution, threatening their health and safety and fueling the climate crisis. Methane is 86x more powerful a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide and the oil and gas industry is the number one industrial source of it. It's past time to do something about it.

This is just the first draft, we need you to let EPA know why you want the strongest methane protections possible submit a comment here

EPA has the authority, and oil and gas companies have the tools and technology, to cut methane pollution 65% below 2012 levels by 2025. But of course industry has pushed them towards much weaker rules -- which is why YOUR voice is important.

With the help of hundreds of thousands of advocates like you we hope to convince the EPA to ignore the oil and gas polluters, but this is the last day to do it.

Can we count on you to tell the EPA to enact the strongest protections possible to cut methane from oil and gas now?

Thank you for standing up for our communities’ health and the future of our planet!

In Solidarity,

Lauren Pagel, Policy Director
