We're already a month into 2022, but a Republican U.S. Senate candidate in Missouri just launched a new ad lying about the 2020 election. And he said if Donald Trump runs for president again in 2024, he'll support him.
If that wasn't bad enough, the other Republicans in the race include a man who made headlines for brandishing an assault rifle at protesters, and a former governor who resigned in disgrace after being accused of sexual misconduct and violating campaign finance laws.
The slate of Republican candidates is horrifying, but their extreme views present an opportunity for Democrats. That's why CNN listed Missouri on their list of the "10 Senate seats most likely to flip in 2022."
