I’m sad to say it's been an entire decade since our country has increased the minimum wage.

I’ve seen firsthand too many working Americans who struggle to provide for their families, even with multiple jobs.

It breaks my heart.

And yet, Republicans continue to avoid action to protect American workers. Instead, they’re giving larger and larger tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans.

That’s why I’m proud that our Democrats are set to vote tomorrow to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour.

Americans deserve a pay raise -- and more urgently, they NEED the raise to take care of their families. It’s vital.

Please, will you sign on and condemn Republicans for refusing to help American families receive a livable wage?
