The installation of a solar electric vehicle charging hub at Gamston Community Hall in Rushcliffe is now complete. This includes the installation of a solar canopy and battery storage alongside 4x 50 kW rapid electric vehicle charging points. These charging points will soon be available for use by members of the public and can be accessed through a contactless debit or credit card.
This solar hub will provide the charging points with renewable energy from solar PV panels on the roof of canopy and will also makes use of battery storage to reduce the reliance of the charging hub on the National Grid.

Car Club and Tramlink Team Up
Enterprise Car Club has joined with Tramlink to give you a new location at Clifton South tram stop. This new location offers an all-electric Nissan leaf. Perfect for your trips around Nottingham.
If you didn?t know, the ever-growing Enterprise Car Club is a shared car hire scheme which can be used across Nottingham and many more locations across the UK. Cars can be rented in all sizes and shape from small cars up to vans which can be reserved at a moment?s notice. Electric vehicles and hybrids are on offer in multiple locations with free charging.
The Enterprise Car Club EV locations are:

- Sneinton Market Square, Aberdeen St, Nottingham, NG3 1JF

The standard plan has a monthly membership fee of just ?7 a month with hire rates at only ?5.15 per hour.

On 17 February, Wind-Link will be hosting their first e-scooter training and safety event at Sneinton Market from 10am until 4pm.
Wind-Link?s team will be able to show you how to safely set of on your journey, how to manoeuvre around the roads and how to end your ride. You?ll event get a free helmet for taking part!
This event is the beginning of a series of safety events that will be around Nottingham until late summer.
