The governor’s soft-on-COVID stance has been costing Florida for the better part of two years. And now, we have a dangerous new surgeon general who thinks it’s ok to let kids with COVID go to school (yes, really). If we don’t defeat Governor DeSantis next year, there’s no telling what will happen.

Now here’s the good news: Recent polls show me neck-and-neck with the governor, or even flat-out beating him . Floridians aren’t happy with the way the governor has bungled this crisis, and they’re looking for steady leadership to get our state back on the right track.

But the governor won’t go down without a fight. His far-right billionaire funders -- many of whom don’t even live in Florida -- will spend big to keep him in office. It’s our job to build a grassroots campaign that can fight back and win no matter how much money they spend.
