Tomorrow is our first end-of-month fundraising deadline of the election year, and we still haven't reached our online fundraising goal. I wanted to take a moment to explain why it's crucial we don't come up short.
Our race for Washington's new 8th District will be one of the most competitive races in the country. Election experts are calling it a "toss-up," and with Democrats holding a slim five-seat majority in the House, Republicans have made our district one of their top targets in November.
We can't hold the House majority without winning WA-08. That's why we need to reach our end-of-month fundraising goal to ensure we have the resources to fight back and take on Kim's three conservative Republican opponents.
Rush a donation of $5 or more before tomorrow at midnight to help us reach our first end-of-month goal of the election year so we can defend Kim's seat and our Democratic House majority.
