Friends, 

Today, we honor our veterans.

To all the veterans receiving this, I want to thank you for your service to our country. Because of your sacrifice, you’ve given us the privilege of keeping this democracy and all of the freedoms we enjoy today.

 

I hope that each one of us takes a moment out of our day to thank a veteran for their service and that we keep our promise to our veterans this day and every day.

This promise starts with standing with our veterans and the benefits they have earned for serving our country. From empowering our veterans to go to college and trade schools to standing up to those looking to harm our veterans with predatory loans and fraud as well as providing the care they deserve.

I’m committed to doing more to protect our veterans.
