This is our first big deadline of 2022 and we need your help to make sure our movement stays on track to elect someone who actually cares about the people of our communities — not someone who sells us out to their corporate donors and the most dangerous interests in their party. As a veteran who swore to protect against all enemies, foreign and domestic, I never imagined “domestic” would include a white supremacist mob to try and take down our government.
Last January, I wondered what my own representative — Congressman Kevin McCarthy — would do in response to such a direct assault on our country. Would he stand up to Donald Trump, finally put politics aside, and call for unity and accountability?
He did none of those things.
So I did a little more digging on what — if anything — Kevin McCarthy has done for folks in our district.
Here’s what I learned:
He has yet to make good on his promise to build a new VA clinic — after making that promise over ten years ago.
He has not addressed our poisoned drinking water in Bakersfield — despite multiple tests revealing it contains dangerous levels of Chromium-6, which is linked to cancer.
He has repeatedly blocked raising the wage when our district has some of the worst rates of poverty in the country.
He has turned his backs on the people he represents.
That’s when I knew I wanted to serve my country one more time — by running for Congress to fight for the people of the Central Valley. Chip in $10 to our grassroots campaign before our first big deadline of 2022 at midnight tomorrow and help power our fight to win in November.

After doing everything he could to stop from bringing full accountability to those who allowed January 6th to unfold — including protecting members of his own party who have been directly connected to helping PLAN the insurrection — he’s continued to try and twist the story to blame the Democrats.
But that’s just the beginning. For years, he’s left those of us in the Central Valley behind in favor of more power and influence in Washington — no matter what it costs us.
I am working to unseat him because he does not work for us, the folks of the Central Valley who need his help.
He continues to work on behalf of corporations and for the very people that attempted to overthrow the government on January 6th.
This fight is going to take all of us — and we can win this because of the support from folks like you.
This can be the year we build a better future for the Central Valley. I’ve never been more convinced that guys like McCarthy should not be anywhere near the halls of power. Our district and our country deserve better. Chip in a few bucks and help finally hold McCarthy accountable by kicking him out of office.
