Dear Friend –
Today, we pay tribute to the men and women who served our nation in uniform. They answered every call and made every sacrifice, in the name of protecting and defending our country and Constitution.
They did this for the American ideal — that a strong democracy is the greatest force for good in the world.
Although we can never fully repay the debt we owe them, we can ensure they come home to a grateful nation that serves them and their families just as they served us.
As president, I will fight to ensure that our veterans receive the respect, services, and support they have earned and deserve.
