Minnesota’s elections have an impact that’s felt across the entire nation — and few have been more important than my friend Keith Ellison’s election as Minnesota Attorney General.

Keith came home to Minnesota after 12 years serving in Congress to run for Attorney General — and ended up winning the most important race of his life.

I’m so proud to support Keith, the People’s Lawyer, who took over the investigation of the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis last year, and has continued to pursue justice and hold accountable those responsible for his murder. Keith’s driving purpose is to ensure all Minnesotans are able to live freely as well as with dignity, safety, and respect. He’s a fierce advocate and a firm believer in delivering on the promises he makes to the people.

Since being elected in 2018, Keith has also helped reduce prescription drug prices, expanded affordable and fair housing, cracked down on the opioid epidemic, and so much more. And if he’s elected for another four years, Keith is determined to keep building on this progress by fighting for social, racial, economic, and environmental justice with every fiber of his being.

Right now, Keith could use your help. He’s up for re-election in November, and I just got word that his campaign is trailing their goal by more than $12,000 heading into their first end-of-month deadline of the year tomorrow night.
